Paw Points are a way to see how active and invested our Club members are in our club. it is a way to monitor the contribution you have provided to the club that will reward you at the end of each semester.
Paw Point Breakdown:
2 points for each meeting (Receive only 1 point if you leave early)
4 points for attending field trips
4 points for fundraisers and social events, 1 point for each person you bring
5 points for Suture Clinic and Puppy Therapy
What is Expected of You: Members are expected to earn at least 20 PAW Points per semester (i.e. 4 meetings and 2 social events). If you absolutely cannot attend general meetings due to class, work, or volunteering, your 20 paw points can be earned by participating in events. You are only considered an active member if your meet the minimum requirement.
Incentive for Being an Active Member: Graduation sashes are given to active members that have received a minimum of 40 points.
If you are in the club for 2 years, you will receive an orange cord.
If you are in the club for 2 years and become an executive board member, you receive a double colored cord.
Also, you can receive awards for being the Most Active Member and Member of the Year depending on how many PAW Points you earn during the year.
