Paw Points are a way to see how active and invested our Club members are in our club. it is a way to monitor the contribution you have provided to the club that will reward you at the end of each semester.
Paw Point Breakdown:
Attending 1 meeting gains you 1 points
Attending/Volunteering at 1 free event gains you 1 point per hour (ex. Discoverfest, Puppy Therapy, Dinner with a Vet Student).
Participating in 1 fundraising event gains you 2 points. An additional 1 point per guest you bring.
For Food Fundraisers (ex. Chipotle, Panda Express), give your receipt to the club's secretary Julie Tran to validate it. If your friends had joined you, please pass it along to the secretary for validation as well.
For Bake Sale Fundraisers, take a picture with an E-Board member and post it to our Facebook Page or have an E-Board take note of your participation.
Participating in the Pre-Health Professions Games earns you 2 points
What is Expected of You: Members are expected to earn at least 5 paw points per semester (i.e. attending 3 meetings and 2 events). If you absolutely cannot attend meetings due to class, work, or volunteering, your 5 paw points can be earned by participating in events. Paw points values are equivalent to the number of hours you have contributed. At the very end of the semester, awards will be given to an active paid member and E-Board with the most paw points.
